Is it possible to combine diamonds from two different rings to make an engagement ring?

Absolutely! You just need to find a setting that will accommodate both (or all of) that diamonds that you will be using. Also the diamonds should be close in their color and clarity. Here is an idea… If you are using two diamonds of of the grandmothers rings and they are they same shape then you could have them set in a North/South setting (Look at the ring that David Arquette gave Courtney Cox). It would be very original and it would really make the diamonds look huge.
